About the Partnership
A recurring paranormal experience in Hinton, West Virginia.
This page is the main source for Coal Country Paranormal experiences at the Campbell-Flannagan-Murrell House Museum. As new lock-in and tour dates are finalized, this page will be updated with ticket links, arrival guidance, guest notes, and venue details.
Members of the Coal Country Paranormal team have investigated the CFM House before, and the property has stood out to our team as a location with a strong history of unexplained activity. These public experiences are being developed around respectful investigation, haunted history, and a polished guest experience inside one of Hinton’s historic landmarks.
Planned Experiences
Two public paranormal options are planned.
Coal Country Paranormal will offer two ways to experience the CFM House: a deeper overnight investigation and a shorter guided option for guests who want a more approachable introduction to the location.
Why CFM House: Our team’s previous investigations have made this location stand out as a compelling paranormal hotspot, with the kind of atmosphere, history, and activity that can support more than a one-night event.
Overnight Paranormal Lock-Ins
Longer after-hours investigations
Overnight lock-ins are designed for guests who want more time inside the location, closer access to Coal Country Paranormal team members and ghost-hunting equipment, and the full atmosphere of an after-hours investigation. Dates will be added as the schedule is confirmed.
Two-Hour Mini Ghost Tours
Shorter guided experiences
A guided two-hour experience for guests who want haunted history, atmosphere, and light paranormal exploration without committing to the full overnight investigation.
What to Expect
A respectful, guest-friendly investigation experience.
Beginner-friendly format
Guests do not need prior ghost-hunting experience. Coal Country Paranormal team members will help explain the flow of the night, the equipment being used, and how guests can participate.
Historic-location focus
Experiences are built around the atmosphere and history of the CFM House, with a respectful approach to the property, its stories, and the people connected to it.
